Monday, September 8, 2008: What's this? Did I put up an unfinished comic? Do you need glasses? No, this return to the story of Cheer! marks a conscious decision on my part to make Cheer! a pencil comic rather than finishing it all nice and neat digitally. I'll create a forum topic to discuss the change in more detail and receive feedback, but the short reason is simply time. I hope leaving the comic in this rougher form, I can return to a more active update schedule without sacrificing the style I've grown quite fond of. Hopefully all you who read Cheer! can accept the change and don't mind too much the drop in final quality. I'm very open to opinions, comments and such both in the forums and by email concerning this change, but it is a decision made. Cheer! will look a lot like this for the foreseeable future. Ironically, there will actually be more frequent updates while I'm gone, thanks to some generous guest artists, so stay tuned for partial excitement! - Tselsebar Monday, July 21, 2008: There's several things which you should all be made aware... thus, it's time for another of my infrequent news posts! Firstly, some of you may know that I have a gallery set up both for myself and for any of you who are interested in viewing or posting Cheer! related artwork. However, this gallery only seems to be used by spammers lately, and I get many emails a day from bots trying to get accounts so they can post their vile spam. Because of this, I've gotten very suspicious of new account requests and, should anyone actually want to create an account, I'll likely assume they're spam and never clear them. Thus, to anyone who has had trouble making an account, or anyone who would like to make one, don't hesitate to send me an email as well. My email is available through the Contact page. Secondly, I know I've been very sloppy and lazy with my updates. I was trying to reprioritize my life and ended up deprioritizing everything. I'm going to move the comic back up to... well, fourth place, just behind eating, sleeping and my career. And I'm going to try to stop fretting so much about the fact I have no idea how to draw anything coming up this chapter. Updates should come a little more frequently, and I may even have a schedule again soon. Thirdly, despite my secondly post, I'm going on vacation overseas for two and a half weeks in the middle of August, so expect August to have even less updates than normal. Sorry, but no real way around that as you can be sure I have no buffer nor ability to work ahead over the next couple weeks. And lastly, I have fallen behind again on my emails... I'll try to catch up, but to all those who have sent an email to the black hole that is my inbox, I beg your forgiveness and a little more patience.
